Alison Brittain

Alison Brittain CBE is a Senior Advisor to Ardea. Alison brings extensive leadership experience across the hospitality, consumer, financial services, and public sectors, having led major UK-listed companies and served on the boards of some of the UK's most prominent businesses and institutions.

Alison currently serves as Chair of the Premier League and Dunelm Group plc. She is also Senior Independent Director of Experian plc and a Non-Executive Director of British Airways plc. In addition, she is Chair and Trustee of The King's Trust Group Company.

Previously, Alison was Chief Executive Officer of Whitbread plc, where she led the transformation and growth of the UK's largest hospitality company. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership and board-level roles across the financial services sector, including positions at Lloyds Banking Group, Santander UK, and Barclays. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Marks & Spencer Group plc and has been a member of the advisory boards of three UK Prime Ministers.

Alison was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2019 for services tobusiness. She is widely recognised for her expertise in consumer businesses,corporate governance, strategic leadership, and organisational transformation.
