
James Del Favero
James Del Favero is a Co-Founder of Ardea and Vice Chairman. James specialises in cross-border M&A and strategic advisory, bringing almost four decades of experience from all over the world.
Prior to co-founding Ardea in 2017, James spent 27 years at Goldman Sachs & Co., working in the London, Paris, Sydney, and New York offices. From 2007, he served as Head of Cross-Border M&A and as Chairman of the firm’s Global Fairness Committee. Before that he worked at The First Boston Corporation, The Boston Consulting Group, and Schlumberger Wireline Services.
James holds a BA in Engineering Science with First Class Honours from Oxford University, an MS in Nuclear Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from INSEAD. He is an Honorary Fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford, and a member of the Chairman’s Circle at Chatham House, The Royal Institute for Foreign Affairs.
